Casual Forest Elopement

Brittany + Travis's Casual Forest Elopement

When Brittany contacted me about eloping in the west country, I was so excited!! We just clicked right away, our online personalities were a perfect match and I knew there was no way I was not going to photograph this elopement. Brittany and Travis were the most easy going, down to earth couple. They just wanted to sneak away and relish in each others love. Inviting just their parents (and her incredible grandfather!), they rented a cabin near crescent falls and made a weekend trip out of it. When we arrived everything was so laid back. They casually got ready while the Mom's did some simple decorating ~ when I say simple, I am definitely down talking it because both moms did a seriously amazing job designing and creating both a head table for dinner and a small wedding cake for celebrations afterwards.

Once everyone was ready, we headed to meet the commissioner in the most ideal forested area for their ceremony. It was beautiful, they shared their I Do's and then the family shared a bottle of champagne and relished in their happiness and pride. We then ventured around the area to get some pretty wicked newlywed photos and I just have to say it....it was the most relaxed and genuinely fun time! Elopements are definitely my new favorite for summer! Plus my second shooter got a hilarious picture of their pups at the end :) Congratulations Brittany & Travis <3 Marriage Commissioner: @Sheila Mizera Second Shoot: Megan Hollingsworth - @megan.lhollingsworth04
